After a few months of RegioDeals - off
Every hospitality entrepreneur wants a full business, but there are many factors that can affect that success. That's precisely why Restaurant Pieterman looked at creative ways to attract people during off-peak hours. How they did that in collaboration with The Fully Bookers? We'd like to take you through their story.

Responding to urgency
Sander van Haasteren of Restaurant Pieterman in Volendam was after a few months RegioDeals - finished. Restaurant Pieterman's unlimited tapas concept gave plenty of room for promotions. "Our deals drive guests who visit us for the first time. Our online booking system invites people to the newsletter. In our newsletter, we bet on deals with urgency. Which means we never have the same deal within six months, we play with opportunities. Soon we noticed that people visit us again for this reason. They feel the urgency to grab a deal."
"After a short time, we were no longer dependent on Regiodeals"

Constantly in motion
Besides the newsletter for regular guests, Restaurant Pieterman has an ongoing schedule of promotions. No two months are the same. "When we notice that there are fewer arrivals between Tuesday and Friday, we react immediately with an action. Currently, we have an off-peak deal that we don't deploy on the busier days. That way, reservations shift to the less busy days."
"The Fully Bookers played an important role in getting our deals off the ground. They really specialise in online marketing for the hospitality industry. By supporting smart mailings with campaigns, our reach is now mega-sized, which means we are completely off RegioDeals. It has had a lead time, but through the power of repetition we have built a very strong database from which we are guaranteed to get repeat visits."
